There is no single price for a drone service. The cost varies according to several parameters:
Area or duration of the mission Most operators charge by area (hectares for mapping, agriculture), by day or half-day (video, inspection), or per linear metre (power lines, pipelines).
Type of equipment required A standard drone costs less to mobilise than a LiDAR drone, thermal camera or agricultural applicator. A high-end thermal camera (FLIR Zenmuse XT2) alone represents tens of thousands in investment.
Required authorisations A mission in a restricted zone involves administrative work (authority application, aerodrome coordination) which is reflected in the price.
Post-processing and deliverables A simple 4K video does not cost the same as a thermal inspection report with annotation, GPS location and anomaly classification.
