Drone services in the United States
Hire a drone pilot for your project
Roof inspection, real estate photos, mapping, thermal surveys or crop spraying: describe the job once, and operators who cover the area send you their quotes.
How it works on Waypoint360
- Describe the job in a few minutes: the place, the dates, what you need.
- Your request goes to drone operators who cover the area.
- Operators send you a quote. You compare and choose, with no obligation.
- Posting a request is free.
What to check before you hire
- A remote pilot certificate with a small UAS rating: flying a drone for a business requires one (14 CFR 107.12).
- Recent knowledge: the pilot must have passed the test or completed recurrent training within the last 24 calendar months (14 CFR 107.65).
- Insurance: ask for a certificate of insurance that names the work you are hiring for.
- The deliverables in writing: formats, resolution, and when you will receive them.
What it costs
Operators quote each job. The price depends on the size of the site, access, the number of flights and the deliverables you ask for. Describing the job precisely is the fastest way to comparable quotes.
